Maeguana

Wild

This large, wing-membraned lizard is generally skittish and will flee when threatened. It is an accomplished glider, using its extensive wing membranes to travel great distances from elevated positions. It forages for both plant and animal matter and is generally inoffensive unless cornered.

Domesticated

The Maeguana's most remarkable trait is its ability to carry and nurse baby creatures in a specialized belly pouch — functioning as a living Feeding Trough. Its saddle can accommodate up to four infants simultaneously, and they feed passively from the creature's natural food supply. It also functions as a capable gliding mount for aerial traversal.
